1. Washing and Peeling

Potatoes are washed and peeled thoroughly by brush roller washing and peeling machine, which is mainly used in a large capacity (2000-3000 kg/h)washing and peeling work. The brush rollers (8-15 pieces) are made of soft nylon material. The potatoes peeled by it have a smooth surface with minimum peeling losses. The residual skin, eyes, and green portions are trimmed manually.

2. Manual Sorting

The manual sorting platform will sort the unquality potatoes. If the the potato is not peeled well, then process it. The conveyor is made of PVC superior food standard conveyor, healthy and safe, meeting food requirement. All plate made of Stainless Steel 304, the motor are speed adjustable, conveyor working is adjustable.

3. Cutting

Peeled potatoes are cut into strips by an industrial potato cutting machine. The thickness can be adjusted freely by increasing or decreasing the spacers between the blades. The cross-section of the sticks ranges between 7 and 12 mm and is generally 10 mm. The length of the strips can be 5-7 cm. The strips are graded for size. Too short, thin strips and discolored ones are removed.

4. Impurity Removing

After the potato chips finished cutting, elevator will send potato chips to the Impurity Removing Machine. To adjust the distance between rollers, general it is 4mm soft brush roller. Potato chips will go down under working of brush roller. If the size of potato chips is less than 4mm, it will leave out. There is one material receiving tank. Thus it can get the effect of sorting. Brush roller material is food standard nylon yarn.

5. Rinsing

After the potato chips coming from the Impurity Removing Machine, the qualified potato chips will drop the Rinsing machine directly. By bubble Agitator Wave Wash, the potato chips will be in roll state, thus it can remove the starch on the surface of potato chips.It also with second water spraying function. All bubble produce device are with speed adjustable.

6. Blanching

The strips are blanched in a blanching machine at 70-95 degrees Celsius for several minutes to remove starch, preserve desirable color, and eliminate potential bacteria.

Blanching time and temperature can be controlled according to your need.

7. Dewatering

The strips are partially dried to remove excess moisture. The French fries dewatering machine is to dehydrate the surface water of the French fries after blanching, which guarantees the maximum dewatering degree. If the strips are meant to be fried, the water content should be near 70-75%; if they are to be cooked in an oven, the water content should be around 65-70%; and for microwave frozen Fries, it is a measly 55-60%.

8. Frying

In this process, the blanched french fries are deep fried in fryer. Our potato french fries frying machine can ensure contact high temperature of oil, and allows you to set frying time. What is more, our fryer can use oil in an effective way while make sure you get top french fries.

9. Freezing

The key step is freezing the French fries. The tunnel instant freezer is used for refrigeration of the French fries to keep them fresh and crispier. It can make the temperature of the French fries to -18โ„ƒ within 20 minutes. This prevents them from sticking together and helps protect the flavor.

10. Packaging & Storage

The fries packed by the packaging machine. Packing can not only prolong the shelf life of french fries, but also can be used as a promotion tool.
